Sherri Papini’s husband details missing woman’s shocking appearance

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The husband of a California mother who went missing for three weeks said his wife was covered with bruises and burns and was chained at the waist and wrists when she was found on Thanksgiving. “Rumors, assumptions, lies, and hate have been both exhausting and disgusting,” he wrote. “I understand people want the story, pictures, proof that this was not some sort of hoax, plan to gain money, or some fabricated race war. I do not see a purpose in addressing each preposterous lie.” In a written statement to “Good Morning America” (http://abcn.ws/2g1etbY), Keith Papini also addressed social media chatter doubting his wife’s story of abduction and assault. NEW YORK --  Amanda Seyfried is pregnant with her first child. People magazine reports  the actress made the announcement and showed off her baby bump in New York on Tuesday. Seyfried was appearing at an event for Givenchy. The 30-year-old actress is a spokesmodel for the fashion label. People says this is also the first child for Seyfried’s fiance, actor Thomas Sadoski. The magazine reports the pair met in March while working on an off-Broadway show and got engaged in September. Seyfried is best known for her film roles in “Mean Girls” and “Les Miserables.” She also starred in HBO’s “Big Love.”

Chapecoense: Football team's 'fairy tale' story ends in tragedy

Members of Brazilian football team on board                                                                                                                               The fairytale rise of Brazil's Chapecoense -- from small football club to national heroes -- has been cut tragically short, leaving the country mourning the loss of one its most endearing sports teams. On Tuesday, the airplane carrying the Brazilian team to the biggest game in the club's history crashed in Rionegro, Colombia, killing 75 people. Six people survived the crash and were taken to local hospitals, according to authorities. Defender Alan Ruschel was one of the players who survived the crash.
