Laurie Hernandez advances to ‘Dancing With The Stars’ final with perfect score

Laurie Hernandez is on to the finals of  Dancing With The Stars  after receiving a perfect score for an emotional foxtrot on Monday night. Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy danced to “Hollow” by Tori Kelly in the semifinals of the show following the death of the Olympian’s grandmother, Brulinda. “That was the most amazing display of courage that I’ve seen in 23 seasons,” host Tom Bergeron said after the performance. The perfect scores were the fourth and fifth straight received by the two, which will compete in the four-couple finals next Monday. Hernandez and Chmerkovskiy will compete with former NFL wide receiver Calvin Johnson, IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and country singer and actress Jana Kramer in the finals.

Why Did Buddy Ryan Run Up the Score On the Cowboys in 1987? Revenge.

Head coach Buddy Ryan of the Philadelphia Eagles on August 6, 1989 in London, England. The Eagles defeated the Browns 17-13. That is, until Eagles quarterback Randall Cunningham faked taking a knee in the game’s waning seconds and launched a pass to the end zone. The Cowboys were flagged for interference, and ...

PITTSBURGH — Nick Bonino put a rebound past Braden Holtby 6 minutes 32 seconds into overtime, giving the Pittsburgh Penguins a 4-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night and wrapping up the teams’ hotly contested Eastern Conference semifinal series in six games. The Capitals had rallied from a three-goal deficit during the final 22 minutes of regulation, but Bonino’s second goal of the playoffs sent the Penguins to the Eastern Conference finals against Tampa Bay. Holtby made the initial stop on Carl Hagelin, but Bonino, camped right outside the crease, tapped in the winner. Washington forward Jay Beagle made a remarkable save from his belly against Patric Hornqvist early in overtime, but there was no stopping Bonino’s tap-in. The rookie Matt Murray made 36 saves as the Penguins continued their playoff mastery over the Capitals. Phil Kessel scored twice, and Hagelin added a goal for Pittsburgh. T. J. Oshie, Justin Williams and John Carlson ...
