A spokesman for the couple confirmed that the Clooneys have welcomed their newborns into the world, naming them Ella and Alexander. In a statement, a representative said: "This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. " Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.” He joked: "George is sedated and should recover in a few days." The baby girl was born on Thursday, weighing in at 6 lbs. and 11 ounces, Teigen told her fans on Instagram. “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” the model wrote. Legend took to Twitter to announce the news. “Our new love is here!” he wrote. “We couldn’t be happier!” Teigen announced the news of her pregnancy in October on Instagram. “As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now,” she wrote at the time. “It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening.”
