Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Announce Birth of Baby Girl


“Our new love is here!”




Model Chrissy Teigen and singer John Legend on Sunday announced the birth of their firstborn child, a daughter named Luna Simone Stephens.
The baby girl was born on Thursday, weighing in at 6 lbs. and 11 ounces, Teigen told her fans on Instagram. “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” the model wrote.
Legend took to Twitter to announce the news. “Our new love is here!” he wrote. “We couldn’t be happier!”
Teigen announced the news of her pregnancy in October on Instagram. “As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now,” she wrote at the time. “It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening.”
