WE’RE BREAKING DOWN THE POKEMON SUN AND MOON TRAILER!

Grab your Master Balls, everybody, because we just got our first trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon, and we’re breaking it all down on today’s Nerdist News! This is a major cuteness alert, because Nintendo just graced us with two whole minutes of the latest installments of our favorite Pocket Monster series—including introductions to the three new starter Pokémon and a glimpse into the gameplay of the all-new Alola Region.
Oh, and we’ve also got a piece of the Deadpool set to give away — details below!
In this sneak peek, we see that the Hawaiian-inspired world, Alola, looks like a more tropical land than we’ve seen in the past, embracing greenery, palm trees, and oceans aplenty. We also get a glimpse at three brand new adorable starter Pokémon. In classic Poké-fashion, we have one grass-type, one fire, and one water as we meet Rowlet: a grass and flying type owl, Litten, a fire-breathing cat Pokémon, and Popplio, a water-type who 100% should’ve been named Loose-Seal.
Since we don’t have any idea what these Poké-angels might evolve into, the Pokémon Company did us a solid and supplemented the trailer with more information and illustrations about each starter. Rowlet wears a bowtie made of leaves and can turn his head a full 180 degrees, straight up silent Exorcist-style. So. That’s a thing. Popplio swims up to 25 miles per hour, but on land performs “acrobatic stunts and jumps” making him the seal/clown hybrid the likes of which we haven’t seen since Buster Bluth lost his hand. And finally, Litten attacks enemies with “flaming hairballs.” So I guess I found my starter.
We also got a super quick peek at shiny, brand new, giant Legendary Pokémon! The two yet-to-be-named Legendaries who also appear on the Sun and Moon cover art appear to be a giant purple bat creature and a Sun-themed lion. Let’s be honest, every Pokémon we’ve met from Sun and Moon are vast improvements over the gross Legendary monsters we got stuck with in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. Pokémon Sun and Moon don’t launch until November 18th, which is so, so far away, but on the bright side gives us plenty of time to sit back and relax with a rare candy and a lemonade over in the Unova Region.
As for all you Deadpool fans out there, now’s your chance to win a piece of memorabilia from the set. That’s right, we’ve got FOUR of Vanessa’s Voltron keychains and we’re dying to let you have one!

Frank Ocean new album: How to listen and stream Boys Don’t Cry when it drops

After two missed release dates a year apart and a confusing decoy of a “live stream” video, Frank Ocean is set to finally release his second album,  Boys Don’t Cry , on Friday 5 August. It will be launched through an exclusive deal with Apple Music, according to the  New York Times , who cite a ‘person with knowledge of the release plans’. If indeed this is the case (and it would make sense, that live stream has an Apple watermark), it means you’ll need to sign up for Apple Music to listen to the  Channel Orange  follow-up, which costs £9.99 a month (£4.99 for students through Apple’s UNiDAYS promotion). You might want to turn off auto-renewal off though (Apple Music app > profile icon > View Apple ID. > Subscriptions > Manage > switch Auto-Renewal off), if you’re the kind of person who, like me, is liable to forget that you’ve signed up for the service indefinitely. Beyond Apple Music...

Celine Dion Gives a Tearful Interview After Her 2016 Billboard Music Awards Performance: "Music Is Extremely Therapeutic"

As  Céline Dion  sang, "The Show Must Go On"—and go on it did. At the  2016 Billboard Music Awards  Sunday, the 48-year-old diva brought down the house with her cover of  Queen 's "The Show Must Go On." Celine received a standing ovation inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and to top it off, she received the ICON Award from her 15-year-old son,  René-Charles Angélil . A surprised and emotional Celine thanked her fans, family, children, and "most importantly," her late husband  René Angélil , "who I know will continue to watch over me from above." Celine added, "René, this one's for you. The show must go on." Celine then made her way backstage to do interviews, but paused to watch  Madonna  and  Stevie Wonder 's tribute to  Prince . She danced, sang along and snapped her fingers as they performed"Nothing Compares 2 U" (which Prince wrote  Sinéad O'Connor ) and "Purple Rain." Afterward, C...
