Amber Rose and Julianne Hough squash body-shaming beef

Amber Rose and Julianne Hough have buried the hatchet.
Following her performance with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Monday’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” Rose addressed remarks made by Hough last week in whichRose felt the judge body-shamed her.
“When you said [‘I feel a little uncomfortable’], I felt very embarrassed,” the 32-year-old model said. “And I felt like you weren’t talking about my dance. But if I misunderstood, then I apologize. I’m a very positive person. I don’t like to argue or bicker or make things weird.”
Before she critiqued Rose’s routine, Hough cleared up the confusion surrounding her previous commentary.
“I would like to say one thing, also,” the 28-year-old began. “The thing I love so much about dance is that it’s a universal platform for people to express themselves. Any person — whether that is age, height, body shape, ethnicity or sexual orientation — it is something that people can express themselves to do. And for me, I am a huge supporter of that and that alone and as a judge, I’m here to solely judge you and everyone in this competition for only the dancing. I want you to know that.”
Rose initially complained about Hough’s commentary Thursday during her “Loveline with Amber Rose” podcast.
“Last night … they did the commentary, and I — it was a point in the dance where I had to lift my leg up and Maks dipped me and [Julianne] said, ‘Oh, I’m uncomfortable,’ and instantly I felt — I did feel body-shamed,” Rose said.
“You know, all the beautiful professional dancers that are on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ I mean — they dress very sexy, and they do the splits and they grind up on these guys, and they look absolutely stunning and get a standing ovation,” she continued. “And me, and my body, my hips, my ass, my breasts made her uncomfortable.”
Hough denied Rose’s accusations.
“To be clear, that was a produced package, not live coverage and they can put those sound bites anywhere,” she explained to E! News. “My ‘uncomfortable’ comment was about the fact that I felt like I wanted more out of the performance — when someone is doing a hot, sexy dance like that without the right amount of energy that is required, it can be uncomfortable to watch.”

Jane the Virgin Season Finale Recap: The Wedding of Jane Gloriana Villanueva

Ivonne Coll as Alba, Gina Rodriquez as Jane, Andrea Navedo as Xo. If I could write this whole recap with emojis, there'd be several varieties of hearts, the running man, the dancing woman, and lots and lots of fires and heart-eyed faces. Those creepy dancing twin girls would also make an appearance. And there'd be a gun. My imaginary emoji recap is appealing because it's incredibly hard to come away from a blockbuster hour of television like "Chapter Forty-Four" and pull together coherent thoughts that aren't just "AHHH!" or "WHY would you get ICE for the DAMN CHAMPAGNE?!" or "OMG FACE OFF MASK!" or "Why isn't all of life just Jane and Rogelio doing that father/daughter dance forever?" But I'll give it a try. Jane the Virgin 's season finale is a narrative fireworks display, a shock-and-awe storytelling spectacular that short-circuits emotional processing centers with blazing confidence. It drops j
